Yes. Our courses are completed entirely online and are self-paced, so you can work through the course when it fits your schedule. There are no scheduled class meetings to attend.

No. You can leave the course and return later to continue your training. Your progress will be saved so you can pick up where you left off.

You'll have one year from the date of enrollment to complete your course. Courses are self-paced, so you can work through your training on your own schedule and return whenever it's convenient during your access period.

After your course access expires, you'll still be able to access and download certificates you've already earned through your account.

Yes! Courses can be accessed from your phone, tablet, or computer, giving you the flexibility to complete your training on the device that works best for you.

Yes. Courses may include knowledge checks, quizzes, reflections, and a final assessment to help reinforce what you've learned. Specific course requirements are listed within each course.

You will have three attempts to earn a passing score on each graded assessment. If you do not pass on your first or second attempt, we encourage you to review the course material before trying again.

If you do not pass a section assessment after all three attempts, you will receive an email with the option to purchase a Section Retake for $5. Your progress in that section will be reset, and you will be required to complete the section again before receiving three additional attempts at the assessment.

If you do not pass the final course assessment after all three attempts, you will have the option to purchase a Full Course Retake for 50% of the regular course price. Your progress for the entire course will be reset, and you will need to complete the course again before receiving three additional attempts at the final assessment.

Only one discounted retake is available per course enrollment, whether it is used for a section assessment or the final course assessment.

If you exhaust all three additional attempts after using your discounted retake, or later exhaust all attempts on another assessment in the same course, your current course enrollment will end. You may repurchase the course at the regular price if you would like another opportunity to complete it. A new purchase will begin the course again from the beginning.

Yes. After successfully completing all course requirements, you'll receive a certificate of completion that you can save for your professional development records.

Childcare Champions Institute courses are currently accepted for continuing education in Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oregon, South Dakota, Virginia, and Washington. Each course page has more specific information about which states that specific course is approved in. We are continually working to expand into additional states, so check back as new states are added. 

Each course page lists the states where that course is currently accepted for continuing education. Because requirements can vary by state and course, we recommend checking the individual course page before enrolling. Yes. You are welcome to take any of our courses for your own professional development. However, if your state is not listed as accepting a course, we cannot guarantee that it will count toward state-required continuing education hours.
